This Refund Policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for AImpress subscription plans.
1. Overview
At AImpress, we want you to be completely satisfied with our services. This Refund Policy outlines when and how you can receive a refund for your subscription.
We offer a straightforward approach:
- 14-day free trial - Try before you buy, no credit card required
- 30-day money-back guarantee - For new subscribers on paid plans
- Cancel anytime - No long-term contracts or cancellation fees
This policy applies to all subscription plans purchased directly through our website. For enterprise agreements with custom terms, please refer to your specific contract.
2. Free Trial
2.1 Trial Period
We offer a 14-day free trial for new users. During the trial:
- No credit card is required to start
- You have access to the full Creator plan
- You can upgrade to view Pro features
- Your data and settings are preserved if you subscribe
2.2 After the Trial
At the end of your free trial:
- If you do not subscribe, your account will be converted to a free tier with limited features
- Your data will be retained for 30 days, after which it may be deleted
- You will not be charged unless you actively subscribe to a paid plan
2.3 Trial Eligibility
The free trial is available once per user. If you previously had a trial or paid subscription, you may not be eligible for another free trial.
3. Subscription Cancellation
3.1 How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time through:
- Account Settings: Navigate to Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription

- Support: Request cancellation through our support chat
3.2 Effect of Cancellation
When you cancel:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
- You retain full access to all features until that date
- Automatic renewal is disabled - you will not be charged again
- After the billing period ends, your account converts to the free tier
3.3 Data Retention After Cancellation
After your subscription ends:
- Your account and basic data are retained
- Historical posts and analytics may be limited based on free tier limits
- You can resubscribe at any time to restore full access
- If you request account deletion, data will be removed within 30 days
4. Refund Eligibility
4.1 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
New subscribers are eligible for a full refund within 30 days of their first payment if:
- This is your first paid subscription to AImpress
- You request the refund within 30 days of the initial charge
- You have not previously received a refund from us
No questions asked. Simply contact us and we will process your refund.
4.2 Service Issues
We may provide refunds or credits outside the 30-day window if:
- We experience significant service outages (exceeding our SLA, if applicable)
- Technical issues prevented you from using core features
- You were charged in error (duplicate charges, incorrect amount)
- We discontinue the service entirely
Each case is reviewed individually. Credits may be offered instead of refunds when appropriate.
4.3 Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that circumstances change. For situations such as:
- Medical emergencies
- Business closure
- Financial hardship
Please contact us. We will review your situation and may offer partial refunds, extended credits, or flexible payment arrangements on a case-by-case basis.
5. Refund Process
5.1 How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Email hello@aimpress.co with the subject "Refund Request"
- Include your account email and the reason for your request
- We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days
5.2 Processing Time
Once approved, refunds are processed as follows:
- Credit / debit card: 5-10 business days to appear on your statement, processed via Stripe to your original payment method
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. We cannot refund to different accounts or payment methods.
5.3 Refund Amount
Refund amounts depend on the circumstances:
- 30-Day Guarantee: Full refund of the subscription charge
- Service Issues: Prorated refund or account credit
- Billing Errors: Full refund of the erroneous charge
Transaction fees charged by payment processors are generally not refundable.
6. Non-Refundable Items
The following are generally not eligible for refunds:
6.1 Subscriptions
- Subscription renewals after the 30-day guarantee period
- Partial months when you cancel mid-billing-cycle (you retain access until period end)
- Downgrades (the higher-tier access continues until the period ends)
- Subscriptions cancelled for Terms of Service violations
6.2 Other Purchases
- One-time add-ons or feature purchases (unless defective)
- Enterprise agreements with custom terms
- Third-party services or integrations
6.3 Annual Plans
For annual subscriptions:
- The 30-day money-back guarantee applies to new annual subscribers
- After 30 days, we offer a prorated refund minus 3 months as an early termination fee
- Alternatively, you can convert to monthly billing at the standard monthly rate
7. Chargebacks and Disputes

7.2 Chargeback Policy
If you file a chargeback (dispute) with your bank or credit card company:
- We will provide documentation to your financial institution
- Your account may be suspended pending resolution
- Fraudulent chargebacks may result in permanent account termination
- We may report fraudulent disputes to relevant authorities
We encourage you to work with us directly to resolve billing issues. We have a strong track record of fair resolution.
